How to Use a Dashboard on Writers Field

Question: What can I do on my Dashboard?

Answer: Your Dashboard serves as the control center for your WritersField account. It allows you to send and receive messages from our team, select topics to write on, review and update your unpublished articles, get notifications about approved and published articles and resubmit your rejected articles.

Question: How do I select an article to write?

Answer: If your application is successful, you will be granted permission to select topics and write on them. You need to browse the ‘Available Articles’ section from your WritersField Dashboard to view the topics available for writing. If you like any topic from the list, you can click on ‘Pick’ to select it.

Question: How do I submit the articles I finish?

Answer: When you pick an article from the list of topics, it is saved in your ‘drafts’, and is accessible from the ‘Unpublished Articles’ section on your Dashboard. When you open the selected article you will be able to enter or copy the text of your article and choose ‘Submit for Review’ from the Article Status box and submit it.

Question: Can I recover an article which is lost due to connection error during submission?

Answer: Generally speaking, you can’t. While you can try refreshing the page after recovering connectivity, it is recommended that you write your articles in a separate file on your computer and then paste them into the submission page. This way you can have a backup of your articles stored on your computer.

Question: How do I know which of my articles have been approved and published?

Answer: After an article is approved by the editorial team and published, it will be listed in your Dashboard under ‘Published Articles’. At the end of the month you will only be paid for the articles that have been published.

Question: What do I do if an article is rejected?

Answer: Articles which fall below our quality standards are rejected by the editorial team. However, you will receive constructive feedback and can make the required corrections before resubmitting the article. However, keep in mind that if your article is rejected three times, for any reason, it will be trashed and you will not be allowed to resubmit it.
